How does one transmit data through a network cable between ubuntu and windows ?, Ubuntu Data Transmission
When we transmit large files on two computers of different systems, but the USB flash drive cannot be installed, we connected the two computers through a network cable.
Use ubuntu as the host, click the wifi flag above, select Edit Connection-add-select the Ethernet Connection method, and then create to directly set the static IP address (IPV4 Settings)
:
In windows, the same static ip address is set to the same ip address segment as the host. Then, open the black window and ping the host's IP address. After that, you can open the tool winscp on windows to connect to our host address, so that we can use this tool to copy between ubuntu and windows.
After a rough look, the speed is quite fast, and the speed is almost 10 MB per second.
