How does the Photoshop eyedropper tool work with
The Eyedropper tool is an information tool, and the information tool includes color sampler tools and measurement tools. The three tools display information about the point at which the cursor is located in different ways, and the shortcut key for this tool is the letter I.
Eyedropper tool
You can select the color in the image, and the information Panel displays the information about the point where the cursor has slipped.
The eyedropper tool's taskbar, shown in Figure 3, uses the sample size option to set the Eyedropper tool's color range (as shown), including the sampling point, the 3x3 average, and the 5x5 average.
Color Sampler Tool
You can define up to four sampling points in the image, and color information will be saved in the information Panel. We can use the mouse to drag the sampling point to change the location of the sampling point, if you want to delete the sampling point, just use the mouse to drag it out of the canvas.
Metrics tool
Using the Metrics tool, you can measure information between two points or two lines. The information is displayed in the Information Panel. Use the method: Select the Metrics tool Click OK start on the image, drag out a line, click to determine a line segment, and then press ALT to create a second measurement line.
