The visitor network provides wireless signals for visitors. When using videos, downloads, and other high-speed Internet applications on the visitor's terminal, a large amount of bandwidth will be occupied, affecting your Internet experience. After setting the network speed limit for the wireless signal of a visitor, you can limit the maximum bandwidth of the terminal connected to the visitor's network to allocate network resources reasonably.
The following describes how to set bandwidth control for a visitor's network.
Our vrouters have a variety of management interface styles. Please refer to the following based on the actual webpage interface:
I. Vro
Log on to the vro management page and click
Application Management
>
Installed applications, Enter
Visitor network,
Speed limitSelect
Restrictions, Enter the maximum upload and download speeds, and click
Save, As shown in the following figure.
The bandwidth shared by all visitor terminals is set here. If you need to limit the network speed for a single visitor terminal, please go
Device Management
>
Visitor device, Find the visitor terminal that requires speed limit, and click
Management, As shown in the following figure:
Set the maximum upload and download speeds, as shown in the following figure:
After the setting is complete, the visitor terminal's internet access speed takes effect according to the setting rules.
II. New Management Interface
Log on to the vro management page and click

Traditional interface
If your router interface is a traditional TP-LINK interface and supports guest network functions (usually touch-screen router),
Guest network settings, Select
Enable guest network bandwidth control, Respectively set the upstream and downstream bandwidth of the guest network, click
Save, As shown in the following figure.
Note:The unit of bandwidth is Kbps, 8 kB = 1KB.
