When a vro is not used, the computer directly connects to the Internet through broadband. Now, if you use a vro to access the Internet through broadband, you need to use a vro to directly connect to the broadband. Based on different home broadband lines, three access modes are available: network cable, telephone line, and optical fiber. For details about how to connect, see the following dynamic diagram:

Note:The wide line must be connected to the WAN port of the router. The WAN port color is generally different from that of the LAN port. The computer is connected to any port of 1234.
After connecting the line, check whether the corresponding interface indicator is always on or flashing. If the indicator is not on,
Before setting a vro, you must set the operating computer to automatically obtain the IP address. If your computer's wired network card has been set to dynamically obtain the IP address, you can proceed directly to the next step.

Enter the vro management address
Open ie on the desktop, clear the address bar, and enter the vro management IP address (192.168.1.1 or tplogin.cn). Press enter to bring up the logon box.
Note:Some routers use tplogin.cn to log on. We recommend that you view the specific management address of the vro on the back of the shell.

Enter the vro management page for the first time. To ensure the security of your device, you need to set the vro password. Follow the prompts on the page to set the password. As shown in the following figure:
Note:: For some vrouters, enter the management user name and password, and enter admin.

Start setting Wizard
Go to the vro management page and click
Setup Wizard, Click
Next Step.
2, Select the Internet access method
If you use the bandwidth account and password allocated by the carrier for PPPoE dial-up Internet access, follow the instructions in the article to continue setting. For other internet access methods, click the corresponding method and refer to the setting process:

3, Enter the Internet broadband account and password
Enter the broadband account and password provided by the carrier in the corresponding settings box, and confirm that the account and password are entered correctly.
Note:Many users cannot access the Internet due to incorrect bandwidth account and password. Please carefully check whether the broadband account and password are correct. Make sure that both Chinese and English letters, uppercase and lowercase letters, and suffixes are entered completely.
4Set wireless parameters
SSID is the wireless network name (which can be set as needed), select WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK and setPSKWireless passwordAnd click next.
Note:A wireless password is used to ensure the security of the wireless network and prevent network access by others.
5, Set
ClickCompleteThe setup wizard is complete.
Note:Some vrouters need to be restarted after the configuration is complete. Click restart.
After setting, go to the vro management page and click
Running status, View
WANPort statusIf the IP address is not 0.0.0.0, the setting is successful.
Now, the network connection is successful and the vro has been set up. After a computer connects to a vro, it can directly access the Internet without dialing a broadband connection.
