How does tplink security monitoring format a monitoring hard disk?

Formatting the hard disk will clear (delete) the existing files in the hard disk, so proceed with caution. The following describes how to format a monitoring hard disk on NVR:

 

Log on to the nvr gui, right-click and select Main menu, Click Set  >  Storage Settings  >  Hard disk managementClick FormatClick OKAnd then the system prompts that the formatting is successful, as shown below:

 

 

Of course, if the hard disk is installed on NVR for the first time, the following prompt is displayed on the nvr gui:

 

 

Click OKYou can format the hard disk to store monitoring video files in the hard disk.

 

Note:Because the disk processing method is different, the formatting of the monitoring hard disk in Windows does not work, and must be formatted on NVR.
