For friends who are still using the CPU usage MHz, this can save memory and speed up the boot:

1. Disable the compressed folder Function

If you open a zip file using winzip or winrar software, the following optimization is a pretty good one. Windows XP has built-in ZIP files. We can use zip files as folders for browsing. However, the system must use some resources to implement this function. Disabling this function can improve the system performance. The implementation method is very simple. You only need to cancel the registration of zipfldr. dll.

Start → run: regsvr32/u zipfldr. dll

2. Reduce the wait time for disk scanning. You will see the effect immediately after the disk is restarted.

Start → run: chkntfs/t: 0

3. Delete the system backup file. After various software and hardware are installed properly, XP will rarely need to update files.

Start → run: sfc.exe/purgecache

Press enter to save MB.

If you are worried about it, do not execute it. This method will only save space, not speed up.

4. Start → run: services. msc enter the XP built-in Service Modification list

Select "Disable", "Manual", and "automatic" for each service attribute in the list ".
