A long time ago, I had the urge to write novels. I wrote a novel for programmers and a novel that reflects the lives of Chinese programmers. Once upon a time, "Silence", "love to think alone", and even "Mu na" became a programmer's label. In fact, in addition to being obsessed with technology, Every programmer also loves life. They are changing the technology and being changed at the same time. They are common people and heroes in their hearts.

The reason why I chose agile development as the first part of "Heroes of software" is not only because agile development has been hot in the past two years, in fact, in today's era of software industrialization, teamwork and project management have become an indispensable Required Course for every programmer. At present, 95% of the books on Agile Software Development come from abroad, Chinese translation, or photoprinting, and there is no book actually written to Chinese programmers themselves. Choose the form of novels to tell the story of agile development, so that complicated concepts can be easily understood without deep terminology, it can help readers who like agile development learn what agile development is and increase the pleasure of reading.

Wang Lijie is a friend and colleague of mine for many years and has rich practical experience in Agile development. We work together to combine our understanding of agile development with what we see and hear in the development process, as far as possible, use a simple and in-depth method to tell the readers about the theory and practice through the characters and stories in the novels. Interestingly, because we didn't have much experience in writing novels before, in the early planning stage of agile invincible, first, we will list the knowledge points, methodologies, and agile tools that we want to incorporate into this novel, just like listing backlogs. In "security first, you can not only gain a deeper understanding of the importance of software security in software development, but also have a new understanding of some common practices in existing software development models. We hope that our "Heroes of software" will make every programmer a hero in his "program life.
