In Excel, click Insert-Picture, and then select a good picture to insert into the picture. Many people will select an arrow in the lower right corner of the picture and resize it by dragging the arrows. This way you can adjust the size of the picture, but this will have a compression deformation of the picture, there may be some unclear place. So it can be cropped by the way of image cropping.

Method Two, Excel crop the image

Here we can use the image clipping method, also first click on "Insert--picture", and then automatically go to the Formatting toolbar. Here are the layout of the picture, such as picture shape, picture border, picture effect. Of course we have a "crop" button on the last side of the size list, as shown in the picture:

If you need to crop the image is a specified size, you can directly enter the image size in Excel. With a small arrow on the Size list, click the arrow to pop up a size and Properties window where you can find "crop" and enter the specified size parameter.
