1. First download the NTFS for MAC.
After downloading, you can read the NTFS disk.
2. Insert the NTFS disk that you want to format.
You can format NTFS disks from the command line under Mac OS X. Follow these steps:
Start command line: Application tool terminal; Enter Diskutil to get help.

Format the desired partition as NTFS using the Diskutil erasevolume ufsd Disk Label device.
NOTE: If the NTFS disk label contains only one word, you do not need to use quotation marks.
3. In addition, during the drive installation process
The Setup Wizard automatically formats the NTFS disks in the MAC OS x Disk tool, but is limited to 10.5leopard+:
Boot Disk Utility: Application tool disk tool;? From the left partition list, select the partition you want to format to NTFS; Click the Delete tab at the top of the window. Select the Windows NT file system from the list of pop-up dialogs, enter a new label (extraneous parameter to notify the purpose), and click the Delete button to format the partition.

With the above, you can format NTFS disks in a Mac system, and note that the NTFS for Mac is downloaded to allow the Mac to read and recognize NTFS disks, such as external removable hard disks, and NTFS disk parameters can also be modified using the NTFS for Mac.
