How Photoshop creates a stamp tooth hole

The stamps are evenly distributed around the stamps. If you use the Photoshop path to create a stamp tooth hole, sometimes the tooth holes in the four corners may be malformed and cannot be viewed in detail. It is true that a path is a convenient and convenient method, but because the path operation itself is calculated based on a uniform distribution, it leads to a lot of unexpected troubles.

How can we avoid this problem? Here we will talk about how to make a stamp with a real tooth hole. Okay, I will not talk about it anymore. Here is an example of how to prepare stamps.

First open the image you want to make the stamp. Then select the part to be used as the stamp pattern, and then define a slightly larger area. These basic diagrams should be well known. Select an image and use photoshop to open the image.

The first task is to convert the background layer to a common layer to facilitate later work. Double-click the left button on the layer of the image we opened, and click OK in the pop-up dialog box. This changes from the background layer to the normal layer.

Next we will enter the stage of making the tooth hole. Here we will first set up the rubber tool. In the brush bar of the eraser, select the pen tip shape and set the diameter first. The diameter here is the diameter of the tooth hole we want to make, the size of the diameter is proportional to the image to be selected. If the diameter is too large or too small, the image will be less realistic. You can try to see the diameter to achieve better visual effects. Here we use a 10-pixel diameter rubber. Then set the hardness. Because it does not need to fade, set it to 100%. The final point is the key point. The spacing is 150%, and the effect is shown in the figure below. Then, we place the eraser in the upper left corner, hold down the shift key, and drag the cursor horizontally or vertically to the bottom to create the first row of tooth holes. Place the mouse circle exactly in the circle at the end of the first circle. Be sure to strictly align, or break down the last tooth hole. Hold down shift to make the second edge. Then, make the third and fourth respectively. Of course, if the tooth holes in these steps are strictly aligned. The fourth tooth hole is exactly the same. Note that the tooth holes must be strictly aligned.

Use the rectangular selection tool to select the entire image from the center of the tooth hole in the upper left corner to the center of the last tooth hole. Then use the rectangle selection tool minus the selection to circle our stamp pattern. In this case, right-click the selection area and select the filling area. Here, the fill is white, the mode is normal, and the transparent area is retained.
