How to convert a string to lowercase?

Source: Internet
Author: User

The lower method of the string object can be used to convert Python strings in lower case. The following example shows the lower method:

For example, String object m
M = 'affefea'

Call the lower method of the string.
Print M. Lower ()

Output result: afefefeaa

Next we can use islower () of the string object to determine whether the elements in the string object are in lower case. If all elements are in lower case, true is returned. If the elements in the string object are in upper case, returns false.

For example:

M = 'affefea'
C = M. Lower ()
Print C. islower ()
Returns true because all elements in the C string object are in lowercase.
