1. Adjust the NIC to full speed. Press the Win + Pause key, click the "hardware" tab, then click "Device Manager", double-click the corresponding network adapter under "network adapter", then open the "Advanced" tab in the window, select this option, enabled;
2. Enable the wireless 54Mbs mode. Some wireless APs or routers do not enable the G mode for compatibility with more NICs. Therefore, they need to log on to the wireless AP and set its "wireless mode" to Gmode, set "transmission rate" to 54 Mbps, activate the 8X mode, and set "antenna transmission power" to the maximum.
3. Change the channel. For 802.11g, there are 11 available channels, but only 1, 6, and 11 do not interfere at all, that is to say, when more than three wireless networks are used in the same region, they will interfere with each other. Overlapping channels will reduce the data connection rate. Therefore, no matter whether our neighbors have installed wireless networks, we should replace them with one of the above three channels.
4. Place the router in the middle of the room. This ensures that all network cards in the home can be connected better. Many people have to connect the router to the living room at the door because of the residential broadband. In fact, this will lose a lot of wireless signals.
