How Linux NTP Configures time synchronization

Configure time synchronization on a RAC node

1. Time is not synchronized in node two modified

Vi/etc/ntp.conf

#---Our timeservers-----

#server 0.pool.ntp.org (note out)

Server 10.10.10.212 (private network IP modified to node 1)

#server 2.pool.ntp.org (note out)

2. Run on two nodes separately:

Service NTPD Start

Chkconfig--level ntpd on

3. Users can view the NTPD service status with the following two common commands:

Ntpq-p
