How MAC switches DNS server addresses
First step, add the DNS configuration file
1, first open the Mac OS System Preferences, click on the list to open the network icon, as shown in the picture
2. Next, on the left side of the network window, select the network interface for which you want to set up DNS. I take the Wired interface as an example, after selecting the good interface, click the "Location" Drop-down list, as shown in the picture
3, then select the Edit Location option, as shown in the figure
4, in the pop-up Location editing window, click on the lower right "+" button, and then create a new location of the network configuration file. I'll change it to "work," and then click the "Finish" button, as shown in the picture
5. Next, click on the "Advanced" button at the bottom right of the network window, as shown in the picture
6, then click on the top of the "DNS" column, as shown in the picture
7, in the DNS Settings window, click the "+" button on the lower left, add a DNS server address, as shown in the figure
8, the DNS address input Well, click on the lower right corner of the "good" button, as shown in the picture
9, then in the Network window click on the bottom right corner of the "Application" button, save our currently added network configuration file, as shown in the figure
Step two, switch DNS
1, Next click on the screen at the top of the system menu bar of the Apple logo, in the pop-up menu can see a "location" option, as shown in the picture
2, then you can see that the location has two DNS configuration files, one we have just established the work, the other is the system default automatic. If you want to switch, click the appropriate location directly, as shown in the picture
3, if you usually need to switch multiple DNS addresses, you can also add multiple profiles in the location of the network.
