How much time have you spent on using Linux from Windows?

Although there are free DraftSight and Qcad in Linux, the CASS of the southern ing and surveying company required by the ing engineering is based on AutoCAD. The data of the Total Station and GPS receiver can only be read and processed by the software in Windows, other computing and adjustment software is also Windows Only. It is simple and quick to learn the Geographic Information System and the school uses ArcView GIS for teaching. Although QGIS and GRASS are available in Linux, the former has few functions, during the winter vacation, I wanted to use it as a map. However, due to some lack of functions, I had to give up. The latter was too difficult to get started. for programming, the school tested Visual Basic 6.0, microsoft's Visual Studio cannot be left blank; most of the domestic online banking systems are Internet Explorer Only; and so on, they are tied up by professional industry software. QQ and games are full of clouds. I like GNOME3, LibreOffice, Inkscape, GIMP, QGIS, DraftSight, and terminals very much. However, if I love Linux, I still have to rely on my own expertise and love Linux in the future.

I don't agree with the practice of completely abandoning another system environment to use and adapt to one system environment.

Because the system is also software, it is as if I use firefox for development, it does not mean that I will abandon chrome app. now the virtual machine technology is very mature. using multiple systems at the same time does not have any obstacles.

The key question is, do you need to use a "system "?

The answer is how you use software.

For C developers, IDE is everything. Using VI/EMACS will greatly improve the coding efficiency, but you cannot require beginners of. NET to use VI/EMACS for coding.

It is even harder for UI designers to replace PhotoShop with GIMP.

Why can't we master the two systems at the same time, instead of replacing unfriendly software in Linux with friendly software in Windows?

It is difficult to use Windows. When I go to the ATM to get money, it may be that I am using Windows. I don't need to worry about "completely getting away from Windows", which means I have adapted to Linux.

Since FC2, the dual-system has been used for six months and XP has been replaced.

Several major factors affecting Windows disconnection:

1. Computer level;

2. Game Addiction;

3. Patience;

4. Learning ability;

5. Bind office software in the environment;

6. English.

After these issues are gradually solved, it will be full of fun.

Basically, in Linux, changing from Windows to Linux does not take much time to adapt. We first installed Ubuntu on a virtual machine and then Wubi to install Ubuntu. This is an adaptation process for a while. Later, after more than a month, I installed it on the hard disk and set it as the default Operating System. Now I have switched from Ubuntu to Fedora, and I don't think there are any major difficulties.

However, if it is completely out of Windows, it cannot be done now (Linux has been used for more than a year ). After all, most people still use Windows. When using some office software, Libreoffice can be used for reading documents for themselves, but if it is for others, it has to be switched to Windows. Sometimes it is a virtual machine, and sometimes it is directly restarted to Windows. In addition, when transferring files with others, you also have to enable QQ on the VM, because in many cases, it is impossible for others to send files in a mailbox.

I basically use Ubuntu now. It takes about four years to access this system.

There is no good solution for Office. google docs can be used together to import ms office documents.

For movies with external subtitles, you must manually convert iconv to UTF-8 encoding.

P2p download, open source emule & bt client feel unhappy, but someone made a thunder http://forum.ubuntu.org.cn/viewtopic.php Based on wine? P = 1730595 # p1730595, very easy to use. You cannot directly run the latest version of thunder in wine.

QQ? Use webqq.

GTalk is also very tragic. The empathy client is very rough and not as convenient as using GMail, but GMail occasionally...

The Chinese pinyin input method is also applicable to ibus-pinyin that comes with Ubuntu 11.04.

I don't use the habit of online banking. I usually have online shopping demands. I will ask my friends for help and I will pay in cash.

In short, because the number of users is small, the application software on Linux is basically unable to keep up. I used Ubuntu to Win 7 cells, mainly because it was defeated by dota. In addition, I don't need to do much documentation output in my work. Wait for a day to get a mac book.
