How does Photoshop draw pixel-style images and characters? Look at the case of pixel painting first
Wait, I'll use this simple case to paint.
1. Create a character's body
Usually I would suggest starting from the head, which is still a viable starting point, but because the character will be so simple, it will be a bit more realistic and the body will start a similar good place.
You need to create a new file in Adobe Photoshop. (100 pixel *100 pixels); The characters I've done are only 28 pixels high.
Step 1
Let's define a skin tone.
2nd Step
Select the size of the pencil tool with a 1-pixel point.
With our newly created color, draw the leg, which will be 2 pixels across each leg with a blank pixel ... Unless you're working on a plump character this will work properly.
The size of the leg will help us define the rest of the pixel characters.
You may want to try your own size/scale, instead of just following me and finding out what you like best. But if you want your pixel character to look like me, the upper leg is 9 pixels high, and the other is the torso.
