How PowerPoint copies Slides

I've introduced some new slides for you, and there's another way to create a new slide, which is to copy the slides, which is useful if you use multiple slides to create a continuous process demo, because one slide is basically the same as the next slide, with only a few minor changes. So how do you copy slides?

There are several ways to copy one or more slides. One of these is to use the Windows clipboard, as follows:

1. Select one or more slides to copy. For more information about selecting slides, see the "Select Slides" section later in this chapter.

Warning: If you make a selection in the Outline pane, be sure to click the icon to the left of the slide title to select the entire slide, and if only the portion of the slide is selected, only the selected portion will be copied.

2. Press the CTRL 10 C key. You can also click the Copy button on the Start tab K, or right-click the selection and click Copy.

3. Select one or more slides to paste bell the slides that follow. You can also click to locate the insertion point you want to insert in the outline pane.

4. Ctrl +v key. You can also click the Paste button on the Start tab, or right-click the target and click Paste.

PowerPoint also has a copy slides command, which is the same as the copy and Paste command. Although the command may be faster, you can hardly control where the pasted copy appears:

1. Select one or more slides to copy.

2. On the Start tab, click the lower part of the new Phantom Order button to open its menu.

3. Click Copy Selected Slides.

PowerPoint will immediately paste the selected slides after the last slide that you selected. For example, if you select the 1th, 3rd slides 6th slide, the copy will be placed after the 6th slide.

To replicate more quickly, you can add the copy selected Slides command to the Quick Access Toolbar. To do this, right-click the command on the menu and select Add to Quick Access Toolbar. Of course, you can also use PowerPoint animations to produce effects on a single slide, which will be explained in more detail later in this article.
