How routers set remote Web management capabilities

How to set up Remote Web management functionality:

1, open the remote Web management

Login router interface, click System Tools >> Equipment Management >> Remote management, remote address range set to 0.0.0.0/32 (that is, all extranet computers can access the router). Select Enable, click Add. As shown in the following illustration:

Note: If you want to manage routers on a particular segment of the extranet, you can add a network segment ip/subnet mask.

2, modify the Web management port

Click on the System Tools >> Equipment Management >> System Management settings >> Web service port (default 80 port), modified to other infrequently used ports (such as 9090), click Save. As shown in the following illustration:

Note: After modifying the service port, LAN Computer Management needs to use Http://IP: port (such as http://192.168.1.1:9090).

Click the basic settings >> system status to view the WAN port status and log the WAN port IP address. If you are a static IP address, you can skip the third step and access the router directly. If dialing for a dynamic IP address or PPPoE, continue to the reference settings.

The change of IP address of WAN Port can bring inconvenience to remote management. This problem can be resolved by using the Dynamic Domain name feature.

Click System Services >> Dynamic DNS >> peanut shell dynamic Domain name, log in the peanut shell domain name, in the domain name information to see Peanut shell domain name, external network computer use peanut shell domain name access router. If you do not have a peanut shell account, you can click on the registered user name to operate.

External network computer in the browser input Http://WAN port IP: ports to access. As shown in the following illustration:

If you use a dynamic domain name, use the http://domain name: port access.
