How does the Mac adjust the screen brightness? Users who use Macs know that the Mac OS X system allows you to adjust screen brightness, keyboard brightness, and sound directly on the keyboard.

Fine-tune Mac OS X brightness

Press and hold SHIFT-OPTION+F1/F2 to fine-tune the screen brightness.

Fine-tune Mac OS X keyboard brightness

Press and hold Shift-option+f5/f6 to fine-tune the brightness of the keyboard.

Fine-tune Mac OS X volume size

Press and hold SHIFT-OPTION+F11/F12 to fine-tune the volume.
