Using the DHCP function provided by routers, IP addresses can be automatically assigned to networked computers. And we simply have the IP address enabled for Internet Protocol settings in the Local Connection Properties window so that the computer can get the address assigned from the router. We know that the private network segment of an IP address includes a class of address range (from 10.0.0.0 to 10.255.255.255), Class B (from 172.16.0.0 to 172.31.255.255), Class C ( From 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255). However, routers often use address segments that begin with 192.168.1.1. This leads to a mindset that must be used to connect to a wireless router. We can totally do the opposite, set the router address pool as a very use of address section, to avoid the line of sight of the net. For example, we can use an address segment that starts with 10.10.1.1. Click the DHCP server → DHCP service entry on the left side of the wireless router settings screen to set the address pool range in the right window to "10.10.1.1" to "10.10.1.100" (Figure 2). Set the low speed bandwidth for the specified IP segment in the IP Bandwidth Control rules table based on the address pool range (Figure 3). For example, the address pool range is "192.168.1.1" to "192.168.1.100", then the bandwidth of the "192.168.1.1" to the "192.168.1.97" address segment can be set to 5KB/S (lower set). Then save the bandwidth throttling feature for the address segment. The MAC address of the normal computer is added to the router's MAC address filter table, then only the legitimate computer can access the normal, the other illegal connection will be completely intercepted. Click the "Security settings" → "Firewall Settings" entry on the left side of the Router Settings screen, check the "Turn on MAC address Filter" entry in the right-hand window, and select "Allow only MAC addresses enabled in the list of MAC addresses to access the Internet" item (Figure 4). Then click the "Security settings" → "MAC address Filter" Item, click "Add New Item" In the right window, enter the desired MAC address, click the Save button to add it to the Mac filter list. In the same way, add all the MAC addresses you want. In this way, only a host with a legitimate MAC address can connect to the router, and other hosts will not have access.
