How the Windows 7 operating system prevents Internet Explorer from being updated to IE10

1. Login to Microsoft website Download IE10 Blocker Toolkit tool. The following is a download link:

2. After opening the above link, click "Download".



3. Double-click to open the "ie10_blockertoolkit" tool you just downloaded.



4. In the prompt window that appears, click "Yes".



5. Click "Browse".



6. Select the folder you want to install (we take the "IE10" folder in "G Disk" for example) and click OK.



7. Verify that the installation path is "G:ie10" and click "OK".



8. At this time, there will be three programs in the folder, as shown in the following figure:



9. Click the Start menu and enter "CMD" in the Run window.



10. Click "CMD" with the right mouse button and select "Run as Administrator".



11. At this point, you can open the Command Prompt window, as shown in the following figure:



12. Type "CD g:/" and press "enter".(g for IE10 Blocker Toolkit software installation of G-disk)





13. Enter "G:" and press "enter" key.(g for IE10 Blocker Toolkit software installation of G-disk)





14. Type "CD IE10", and then continue to press "enter".(IE10 is the folder installed by IE10 Blocker Toolkit software)





15. Enter "Ie10_blocker.cmd/b" and press "enter".





16. The prompt on the screen "operation completed successfully" means that the upgrade IE10 has been disabled successfully.



When you are done, the Windows 7 operating system will not automatically upgrade to IE10.
