How to access the Novell database in ASP

The first step: on Novell Server

1. Create a new account or use any account that already exists.
2. The "Trustee directory Assignments" right to the directory where the database exists is given to the account.
3. The account must have the following permissions: New, delete, browse files, modify, read, write.
4. Create a new group called NTGateway.
5. Add the user to the group.

Step two: On the NT Server

1. Install GSNW (NetWare Gateway Service) (if not yet installed).
2. Open the GSNW console. Set the preferred service to novel Server.
3. Click the Gateway button and set up the gateway account number as the first step in Novell server.
4. Set the password for the account number.
5. Click the Add button to map a drive letter to Novell.
6. Click the Confirm button to exit GSNW two times.

The next thing to do is to use the mapping disk to complete the part of your database that DSN needs, not much.
