How to add a new picture to a github wiki

This article provides a brief introduction to adding new image pairs to the GitHub wiki.

On GitHub's wiki, you can show pictures, but, how to add images, from the information displayed on the page, is not very clear.

Adding a picture is basically done in the following steps:

1. Clone Wiki

2. Create a picture Catalog

3. Add a picture to the picture directory

4. Referencing a picture in a wiki

The following are the steps:

1. Clone Wiki

git clone https://github.com/xx/xx.wiki.git

The URL can be obtained from the clone this wiki locally

2. Create a images Directory

CD Xx.wiki

mkdir Images

3. Add the file to the picture directory

CP A.pn images/

Git add-a

Git commit-m "Add a.pn"

git push

4. Referencing a picture in a wiki file

[New picture] (IMAGES/A.PN)
