The release of BCB2007 is an exciting thing, its powerful function and good stability let me decide to turn from BCB6.0 to 2007.
BCB2007 change is still relatively large, it can not be as easy as 6.0 to install our ActiveX control, and even some netizens said it could not install ActiveX control, which led to the vast number of netizens to BCB2007 dissatisfaction. BCB2007 really can't install our ActiveX controls? The answer is: you can install it.
Detailed installation plan look at the description below, there are 2 scenarios.
"Programme One"
Condition: BCB6.0 and BCB2007 are installed
Steps:
(1)
Here we use Flash control shockwaveflash.ocx as an example. Add an ActiveX to be installed with BCB6.0 Control Shockwaveflash.ocx (Save the process here, everyone will, will not look at the network tutorial), note that we will install it into the new package SKSHOCKFLASH.BPK, after compiling the installation is our key work.
(2)
Find out the few files that you just generated, which are subdirectories of the Imports of the BCB installation directory (such as C:\Program files\borland\cbuilder6\imports), which are:
Shockwaveflashobjects_ocx.cpp shockwaveflashobjects_ocx.h
Shockwaveflashobjects_tlb.cpp Shockwaveflashobjects_tlb.h
Copy these files, put them in a directory (e.g. F:\BCB2007_Add_OCX\flashocx\), and then open the BCB2007 to install our shockwaveflash.ocx inside it.
(3)
After opening the BCB2007, create a new package project: File-->new-->other ... Select Package. As shown in Figure 1:
