Now, if you want to know why you want to do this, the answer is simple. It allows you to quickly access it in the left sidebar. For example, in Ubuntu, the folder of the customer's home. It is created in/Home/helper house. It is not difficult to first enter the Home directory and then enter the Home directory of the customer, but I want to access it faster. Therefore, I added a bookmarks so that I can access them directly from the sidebar.

Add bookmarks in Ubuntu

Open Files. Go to the directory where you want to save quick access. You need to add it to the bookmarks directory.

Now you have two methods:

Method 1:

When you are in Files (File Manager in Ubuntu), check the top menu. You will see the bookmarks button. Click it and you will see the option to save the current path as a bookmarks.

Method 2:

You can press Ctrl + D to save the current position as a bookmarks.

As you can see, there is a newly added home directory on the Left bar:

Manage bookmarks

If you don't want too many bookmarks or you mistakenly Add a bookmarks, you can simply delete them. Press Ctrl + B to view all bookmarks. Select the bookmarks you want to delete and click Delete.

This is what you need to do to manage bookmarks in Ubuntu. I know this is very simple for most users, but it may be useful for many new Ubuntu users.
