In Word2013 documents, users can add Hanyu Pinyin to Chinese characters with the help of the phonetic Guide feature. In general, Pinyin is added to the top of the Chinese character. Since Chinese characters and Pinyin are merged into one line, the font size of Chinese characters and pinyin is very small. If the user needs to add pinyin to the right side of the Chinese character, such as "Pīn" (Yīn) (zhǐ) south (Nán), it can be implemented through the paste text feature provided by Word2013, as described in the following procedure:
Step 1th, open the Word2013 document window and select the Chinese characters you want to add Hanyu Pinyin to. Click the Phonetic Guide button in the Font group in the start Ribbon, as shown in Figure 2013080401.

Step 2nd, confirm the correct pronunciation of the selected Chinese character in the Open Phonetic Guide dialog box, and then click OK, as shown in Figure 2013080402.
