How to adjust application volume control within a synthesizer

Windows 7 and Windows 8 systems can choose "Turn on Volume synthesizer" by clicking the small horn icon in the lower-right corner, selecting synthesizers, or right-clicking the icon. As shown in the following illustration:

You can then set the volume for a separate program, and then test whether the application is back to normal after the sound is turned up. (When playing sound, there is a volume beat, which can be used to determine whether there is audio signal generation.) )
