How to assign permissions to vsts project team members

Prerequisites: You have installed AD, sql2005, and TFs (including WSS ). For installation instructions, see the TFS Installation Wizard.
Process:
1. on AD, add a group of hrmgroup for the project and add a user (glacier, chatter, will…) to each project member ......). Sets the hrmgroup group for each user.

2. assign a project member. Enter vs2005 IDE, open team explorer, set the sercurity and membership allocation in teamprojectsetting, add members and assign permissions to members, and assign group permissions to members in a certain membership.

3. Assign the WSS website permissions by using AD. For example, go to the WSS website of the project, go to website management, and add the corresponding permissions of the user to the manage user. The permission is associated with the permission of the Project Document in teamexplorer.

4. Assign the SQL Reports Service website permissions. For example, right-click reports in teamexplorer and go to reports site. Click the attribute above the list to manage its security, add it to a domain user or group, and assign corresponding permissions.
