Last week, while cleaning up my hard drive, I found an old article about how to develop my creativity for some young project managers. I looked at it carefully, and I realized that some of it was quite suitable for more creativity in blogging, and today I'm going to talk about the specific ways of creative writing.
So where does the idea come from?
As I think of myself and I see other people writing, creativity usually comes from the following areas:
1. Deductive
New ideas come from the accumulation of past experience, which is largely a step-by-step process, where each of the previous steps looked small, but the end result was very important.
A specific example of the deduction is currently the most commonly used platform WordPress, they regularly update the function, each time on the original basis for reconstruction.
After most bloggers use this method, fresh ideas and ideas (whether their own or someone else's) will continue to produce every day.
The wisdom of asking questions: "How do I improve So-and-so (here's what I need to deduce)?" ”
Usually, it is probably the most common way to create new ideas.
2. Reuse
To reuse, is to put some old things in a new way to express again.
For example, I asked the participants in a meeting, gave everyone a fork, and told them to tell them more about the new use of the fork in 2 minutes.
Many people seem overwhelmed at the beginning of this kind of experimental thinking, they think only of the traditional use of forks, and now need to break the tradition, which often produces some interesting (sometimes useful) new discoveries.
The wisdom of asking questions: "How do I do something in another way?" ”
3. The integrated
Combine two or more existing ideas to produce a third new point of view.
This is my favorite way to create. I like the challenges and opportunities that this approach poses.
Perhaps it is precisely because one day a person suddenly whim of the theater and restaurant together will be what kind of, only to produce a theater restaurant such an invention.
Because of the combination of reasons, I think there will be more applications in the field of blog, blog and other types of Web sites (forums, video, audio, employment boards, chat rooms, etc.) integration.
The wisdom of asking questions: "How did I get the benefit from So-and-so and So-and-so?" ”
4. The Revolution
Revolution, is a completely new point of view, and the previous view is completely different.
One example is one of the people I've recently met who runs a list of emails, and he finds that his mailing lists are getting fewer users, so he decides to move from the mailing list to blogging to reshape his business.
His goal has not changed, but his methods have completely changed.
The wisdom of asking questions: "How can I do a better job of So-and-so?" "or" If I do not use so-and-so, how can I achieve this goal? ”
5. Change direction
This would be a way to radically change the main focus.
This is a fairly radical process for a business or an individual, usually involving the removal of all content and rebuilding the site, from scratch.
The wisdom of questioning: "If we start again, how do we make a difference?" ”
The above five methods may be a good start, but I'm sure there are other ways to generate ideas, and I'd like to hear your comments in the comments.
