Procedure

2. Now, if we select rows 6, 7, and 8 in the table, right-click and select "hide" so that the data is invisible to the table. (we recommend that you read: how to hide a single cell in EXCEL)


3. Now let's test and calculate. In a cell, enter the formula = subtotal (), set the parameter on the left to 109-SUM, and select the summation area on the right, then press Enter to confirm

 

4. You will find that the contents of such sum and hidden data are not included in the statistics.
