How to cancel automatically generated BAK files in editplus

Editplus is a good text editor, but it will generate a backup file with the suffix. Bak by default, which can easily cause confusion in the file directory.

In fact, you can modify the parameter attribute so that editplus does not generate such a file. Take editplus3.3.1 as an example,

Remove the check box on create backup file when saving.

 

How to set the default file format, encoding method, and tab of editplus

First, select preferences from the tools drop-down list. The Preferences dialog box is displayed. Then, in the dialog box below select files settings on the left, select UNIX format in the right panel, UTF-8 encoding. Then, select Settings & sybtax on the left of the dialog box below, and select TAB/indent on the right panel to set the number of tabs.
