How to change the base URL for Magento

The base URL for Magento is the URL used to access the store page, or you can set a base URL for a single store view.
Before you change this value, make sure that your domain name is already pointing to the IP,DNS resolution of the server on which the site is located before you can access it properly through the domain name.

To change the base URL of the Magento, you need to enter the background first
System > Configuration > Web > Unsecure > Base URL
And
System > Configuration > Web > Secure > Base URL

Unsecure inside the base Link URL, base Skin url, base Media url, base JavaScript URL General Web site using CDN Technology will change, when not, the general system defaults can be used.
If the site domain has SSL technology, secure the base URL will be changed to HTTPS://yourdomain.com

After the change, you remember to refresh the cache.

If the background is not accessible, you can also modify the base URL through the database operation:
Enter the phpMyAdmin, find the corresponding database, click on the "Core_config_data" table, it is easy to find "Web/unsecure/base_url" and "Web/secure/base_url" two values.
