How to change the WordPress Login Name

Here we talk about WordPress installed by ourselves, not the WordPress hosting provided by BSP.

After WordPress is installed, an admin account is generated for logon. However, this user name cannot be changed in the management background. The easiest solution is to change it directly in the database.

Open the wp_users table in the WordPress database using phpMyAdmin (or other database management tools, as long as you can operate the MySQL database). There should be an admin record. Change the user_login field of this record to the login name you want.

Update wp_users set user_login = 'ggggqqqqihc 'Where user_login = 'admin ';

Then you can use the new user name to log on to Wordpress.
