Calculation of Lun numbers commonly used by HP:
For example, the name of a disk device is/dev/DSK/cxtydz.
Lun id = y * 8 + z
-----------------------------------------------------
Thousands of targets are troublesome. Because a SCSI link can only have 15 targets, the Y value of/dev/DSK/cxtydz can only be up to 15, that is to say, the maximum Lun number on a SCSI link is/dev/DSK/cxt15d7 (Lun 127). If the Lun ID exceeds 127, the value of X is increased by 1, and the Lun number is related to X.
For example, if the name of the lun0 device is/dev/DSK/c0t0d0, the name of the Lun 128 device may be/dev/DSK/c1t0d0.
