How to clear IPMI warnings

Today, using vcenter to connect to an ESX host (Dell Server, a long time ago the machine has a small screen alarm, content for log full, because the machine can not be restarted, so there is no chance to clear the log) when an alert: Host IPMI system event log State, This alert is usually caused by a full system event log, and the IPMI system log must be cleared to reset the sensor.

1.Client Landing vcenter Console, click on the host, find the "Hardware Status" tab;

2. Expand the "System event Log" and click "Show Event Log";

3. You can view the event content, my log shows that the battery is dead;

4. Click "Reset Event Log";

5. Click "Reset Sensor".
