When we use WPS text to edit a document, when we insert a hyperlink, the system automatically displays an underscore underneath the hyperlink, which allows the user to better distinguish between hyperlinks and plain text. But when we want to print the document, this extra underline is a bit annoying and affects the document's printing effect. How can we easily clear these underscores while preserving their hyperlink characteristics, and look at my method.
After editing the document, we can clear the underline of all hyperlinks at once before printing.
Click the Styles and Formatting button on the Formatting toolbar (), or open the Styles and Formatting task pane by using format → styles and formatting on the menu bar. Move the mouse over the Styles and Formatting task pane, click the Drop-down box button on the right, and select click Modify in the menu that appears, as shown in Figure 1:
Figure 1
When clicked, the Modify Style dialog box pops up. Click the "Format" button in the lower left corner of the dialog box and choose Click "Font" from the pop-up menu, as shown in Figure 2:
Figure 2
When clicked, the Font dialog box appears. In the Font dialog box, select Underline style to none, see Figure 3:
Figure 3
Then, two times OK, all the hyperlinks in the document are cleared and underlined.
If you are not satisfied with the font, color, etc. of the hyperlink, you can change it by using the above steps, as long as you change it in the Font dialog box. Here I would also like to introduce another way to clear a hyperlink underline: Select all hyperlinks in the document (select the entire document if you're bothered), right-click the selection, select Click Font on the pop-up shortcut menu, and then in the Pop-up Font dialog box, make the setting in Figure 3. You can also easily clear the underline for all hyperlinks. However, after using this method, it is troublesome to underline the hyperlink, please use it as appropriate.
