At the time, Word 2003 was released with a new separator-making method that was simple to operate. Word automatically converts these three characters to a corresponding separator as long as you enter three consecutive characters in any area of the document, as shown in Figure 1.

Although this technique makes the separator easier to make, many friends have found that Word automatically generated delimiters can not be selected by the mouse, so naturally can not as usual through the selected method to delete it. In fact, the removal of this separator is not as complex as everyone thought, the author here has two simple skills can be solved.
Method One, single deletion method
This method is useful for deleting a single automatic separator character. The specific operation is very simple, we simply position the mouse on the first line of the separator, and then press the DELETE key to delete the characters after one after the deletion, the separator will then be deleted, as shown in Figure 2. However, it is inefficient, typically only one row at a time, and if the document contains more delimiters intended to be deleted, use the following method.

Method Two, batch deletion method
This method is useful for deleting a large number of automatic separators at once. To do this, you first select the area where the deleted delimiter is located (do not deliberately select the separator, because it is not selected), then click on the Format menu → borders and shading, adjust the border settings to "none" to determine that the selected area of the automatic separator immediately disappeared without a trace, as shown in Figure 3.
