UAC is a weapon to protect against malware, viruses, trojans, worms, and spyware, helping people to avoid email attachments from unknown sources like security professionals, and reducing the daily security problems of users.
When UAC is turned on, it pops up a window that's always on the front end asking if you really want to install or run a program that you don't understand, is it really useful to protect your computer from infection? Before you answer this question, let's start by looking at the dangers we face before uninstalling your antivirus software like AVG or Avast.
Turn UAC off
Vista users can turn off UAC by: Control Panel → user account → turn on or off user Account Control → use user Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer.
1, press the "Win+r" key combination to open the operation, and then input gpedit.msc;
2, open Group Policy, select the Computer Configuration, select Windows Settings;
3, open the local policy after the security settings;
4, select the security option;
5. Find user Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode, user Account Control: Admin Approval Mode for built-in Administrator account;
6, choose to disable, set up after the completion of remember to restart your computer.
Note:
Tip: Please pay attention to your operating system version. Home Edition, Chinese (single language release for the PRC region) system has no Group Policy Editor and cannot use this scenario.
