How to configure and reconstruct Oracle 10 Gb em service-dbcontrol

Oracle10g em adopts the web method and is divided into two products: Database Control and grid control. This section describes how to create a single data dbcontrol. To install grid control, download a separate CD.

When using dbca to create a database, you can choose whether to enable dbcontrol.
Database



Create a sysman schema to save some data of EM, which is the repository of em ).

Use the command line tool emca
It can be created, modified, rebuilt, or deleted.Dbcontrol

To create an EM database in the database, both the database and the listener must be started and work properly.

Common command syntax:

Emca-repos create creates an EM Database

Emca-repos recreate re-creates an EM Database

Emca-repos drop delete an EM Database

Emca-config dbcontrol dB configure Database Control of the database

Emca-deconfig dbcontrol dB deletes the Database Control Configuration of a Database

Emca-reconfig ports reconfigure dB control and Agent ports

Emctl startConsole
Before starting the EM console service, you must set the oracle_sid environment variable.

Emctl stopConsole
To stop the EM console service, you must set the oracle_sid environment variable before use.

Note: View $ ORACLE_HOME/install/portlist. ini
File to know the port currently being used by dbcontrol, default dbcontrol http port1158
, The agent port is 3938. To reconfigure the port, run the following command:

Emca-reconfig ports-dbcontrol_http_port 1159
