In Ubuntu, Compiz's 3D cube desktop is really cool, but it is always difficult to set different wallpapers for different 3D cubes.
No matter how you set it in compiz configure. Every desktop display is always the same wallpaper.
After a period of research and exploration, I finally solved the problem and shared it with Ubuntu supporters.
Ubuntu 3D cube displays different wallpapers on each desktop ()
The key to configuration is to disable the display of Gnome original wallpaper.
Enter the following command:
Gconf-editor/apps/nautilus/preferences
Or press ALT + F2 and enter gconf-editor
Find apps -- nautilus -- preferences
Remove the check box before the show_desktop option.
However, the desktop icons of the Ubuntu system are not displayed, and the right-click operation on the desktop is invalid.
Then, select the appearance in Cube Caps in CompizConfig 0.7.6 (Before Version 0.7.6) and Set Top image files (wallpaper on the 3D Cube) and Bottom image files (wallpaper under the 3D cube) are set to two images.
Then, set the default wallpaper on the left and right sides.
In Backguound Images, add the four Images you like.
