How to configure Oracle Instant Client in Windows

1. Download the corresponding version of the instant Client from the Oracle Web site and extract it to e:/instantclient_11_2

2. Copy the Network/admin directory on the installed Oracle machine to E:/instantclient_11_2

Tns_admin=e:/instantclient_11_2/network/admin

This step path must be set correctly, a lot of online introduction write tns_admin=e:/instantclient_11_2 is not possible

3.oracle_home=e:/instantclient_11_2, and added to the PATH environment variable

4. Edit Tnsnames.ora set Local NET service name, OK, you can use Pl/sql developer to test

Note: Oracle_home and tns_admin are two important environment variables that can affect Oracle services once they are changed, because many of the scripts in Oracle use these two variables.
