How to configure Tomcat under Eclipse

Situation One

1. Open Eclipse, under the menu bar, file--new--dynamic Web Project

2. Enter project name, click New Runtime, select the version of Tomcat you want (tick create a New local server), click Next

3. Tomcat has been downloaded to choose Browse ... Browse the local folder, add it, do not download the selection download and Install ... Wait for the download to install (takes a while, wait patiently), click Finish when finished

Situation Two:

Click Window-->preferences-->server-->runtime environments-->add ... in the options bar.

Click Tomcat V8.0-->next

Then select the Tomcat path and click Finish

Add complete, click OK
