The application topology of routers, servers, Internet, and clients is as follows:
A small enterprise uses a TL-WDR5300 to build an application network, the mail server and web server need to open to the Internet. This requirement is achieved through the virtual server function of the TL-WDR5300, the user network parameters are as follows:
External Access Port:The port used by the Internet user to access the server.
Before setting a virtual server, you need to confirm the following:
(1) the server manually specifies an IP address, and the default gateway is the management IP address of the TL-WDR5300, the router is not set to limit the server firewall rules.
[2] client computers in the Lan can access the server through the IP address and port of the server. For example, the intranet computer uses the mail client to access the mail service of 192.168.1.100, and the browser uses http: // 192.168.1.101: 80 ).
[3] The system firewall of the server allows the public network client to access the opened Port. If the firewall is not enabled, you do not need to consider it.

Note:You can set the external service port number as needed (if you need to change it, we recommend that you set it to 9000 or above ). No special requirements. Set the external port number to the same as the internal port number.
