How to configure wine ~ -- Linux general technology-Linux technology and application information. For details, refer to the following section. The younger brother just got into touch with linux, cainiao ..........
After installing linux, I was attracted by some aspects of linux, but linux also brought me a lot of troubles .........
For example, you cannot see the teaching CD in linux ......
So I installed a simulator wine version 1.0.1 .....
I thought I could play the disc like I would in windows. But I don't know, but it didn't respond ...........
No configuration already exists ..........
But the problem comes again .........
How can I configure it ...................
I checked it online .......

The method is as follows:
3. Load Windows partitions
Run the following command to load the Windows C partition to the/mnt/dosc directory in Linux:
Mkdir/mnt/dosc
Mount-t vfat/dev/hda1/mnt/dosc

4. Set Wine
Wine is easy to set. The window mode can be completed with just a few mouse points. You no longer need to set the tedious wine. conf configuration file.
1) execute winesetup in the X Window Interface to open the Wine setup program.
Note: To ensure security, Wine cannot be configured with root logon.
2) Select the installation path for Windows.
The Wine setup program automatically searches for and sets Windows directories (of course, you need to load the Windows partition to a directory under a Linux partition in advance ).
3) Final adjustments
The setting is complete. However, to make the interface more friendly in the future, you can select "Basic"/"Look & Feel"/"Windows Version, set the Windows version to "Windows 98 ".
4) run the application
You can run the following two methods:
A. Automatic Running
Switch to the application directory in the KDE or GNOME File Manager and click it to open the application. Although the program runs very slowly,
B. Manual Operation
In Console mode, type the following command:
Wine <你想运行的应用程序>
C. For example,
What if I want to use Winzip in linux Through wine?
Run winesetup again. In the Windows installation path Configuration window, select "Create a new windows directory (Create a new Windows installation directory)". Everything else is simple, run the Winzip Installation File in Linux to install Winzip and then call it.

But I follow the above method,
When executing command mkdir/mnt/dosc, the system prompts "cannot create directory ",
So I created mkdir/home/uncleja/dosc in the home directory,
However, when mount-t vfat/dev/hda1/home/uncleja/dosc is executed, the system prompts: mount: the special device/dev/hda1 does not exist ..........

Alas .... helpless ........ ladies and gentlemen ..... help me ......... give a good response ..............
