First part

One, the projector RGB port no input signal

When the projector switches to RGB output, it prompts the RGB port for no signal input. First, troubleshoot whether the VGA connector is connected properly. If the normal description of the notebook computer VGA output without signal, the problem is on the computer. Is the VGA port damaged? The general probability is relatively small. Through the inspection data, found that notebook computer generally exists three kinds of output mode: 1, LCD screen output, VGA port without output. This is the default way, may consider the reason of electricity saving! 2, VGA port output, the screen has no output. 3, VGA port and screen have output. Therefore, the computer must switch to the third output mode. Lenovo Zhaoyang Notebook Computer For example, the switch mode for the keyboard fn 10. Previous older notebooks such as Toshiba, switched to a hard switch on the side of the notebook.

Two, the projector has the information input, but does not have the image

In the case of the correct output mode of the notebook computer, the above faults should first check whether the computer's resolution and the refresh frequency match the projector. We know that notebook computer hardware configuration is high, the resolution can be achieved and refresh frequency are higher. But if the projector exceeds the maximum resolution and refresh frequency, it will appear above phenomenon. The solution is simple, the computer's display adapter to lower the two parameter values, the general resolution does not exceed 600*800, refresh frequency between 60~75 Hertz, can refer to projector instructions. In addition, it is possible to encounter the inability to adjust the display adapter, please reinstall the original video card driver before you adjust.

Third, the projection image bias color

This is mainly the problem of VGA cable, check the VGA line and computer, projector interface is tightened. If the problem persists, then you can buy a better quality VGA line, pay attention to the model of the connection port Oh!

Part II

One: PC connection projector, notebook external monitor

The PC connects the projector generally in two ways: using dual graphics cards or using video splitter.

The use of dual graphics card is a PC at the same time plug two graphics card, a video card connected to the monitor, another video card to connect the projector; the role of the video distributor is to divide the video input signal into multiple routes of the same video signal output.

Most laptops are designed with an RGB interface that can be external to the monitor or projector.

Laptop Connection monitor requires two points:

① Notebook Open RGB interface

Method one: In the BIOS to open in the computer boot to enter the BIOS settings, set the notebook Display properties (displays) for the both.

Method Two: Setting up a computer dual screen display in Display properties can be divided into two modes: one for mirror mode and the other for extended mode.

When mirroring mode is used, the laptop LCD and projector screen display exactly the same. When using extended mode, the projector display is the expansion of the primary display (laptop LCD). In the double screen setting, be sure to get the projector or other display equipment in advance, otherwise it will not be set up correctly. Bring up the Display Properties dialog box and select multiple monitors in the settings, that is, the Notebook + projector.

Method Three: Using the function key FN is the word function (functional) shorthand, almost all laptops have the FN key, it is the function and other keys to form a combination of keys, to achieve the hardware adjustment and switching functions. Here's another key, keyboard keys with a notebook screen key, most of which are F8. Switch with Fn+f8.

Need to switch several times, general situation:

The first time switch, the projector shows that the computer does not show;

The second switch, all show;

Third switch, projector does not show, computer display.

② resolution and Refresh frequency

Notebook resolution and refresh rate to confirm the video card set resolution and refresh rate in the projector to accept the range, do not know the scope can be lowered a little, such as 1024*768-75hz.

Second, notebook connection projector common problems and solutions

① can't play video solution

Symptom: Notebook is Windows system, connect projector use WMP, Realpaler and Jinshan shadow PA play a video file, the notebook is normal display, but when projecting out, the video box is a black, there is no image.

Reason: Due to a mismatch between display properties and projector performance

Solution One: Modify: Display Properties-Settings-advanced-performance-hardware acceleration

To speed up the hardware, you can easily solve TV back projection and projector video file playback problem

Solution Two: The video file in the software to play a little modification can easily solve the TV back projection and projector video files can not be normal playback of such problems. For the current use of several video playback software, the introduction of the solution to the following methods:

1:realone Player

Click the Tools/Preferences menu to go to the Preferences Settings dialog box, select the hardware item in the Categories bar, check Enable full screen video control in the playback performance bar, and then drag the slider in the video card compatibility bar to the most reliable on the left

2:windows Media Player

Click the Tools/Options menu, go to the Options Settings dialog box, select the performance item, and drag the slider to the middle in the video acceleration bar below to set the following figure:

3: Super Jie Ba

Click the video/Monitor settings/Multiple Display settings menu, the Setup Center dialog box appears, check the start multiple monitor split display feature, and in the Hardware acceleration column, check "Use Hardware YUV acceleration."

② Projector shows incorrect resolution

Symptoms: 1. The screen picture shows incomplete, or up or down or around, there are always some places to show incomplete;

2. Open the opportunity to display the progress bar and splash screen, and then do not show.

Solution: Modify the notebook resolution, such as changing to 800*600 or lower, do not use widescreen resolution, and so on.

③ Projector cannot display or display incomplete

Symptom: In ensuring the power cable of the projector, the data signal line and so on is connected correctly, the projector's bulb and the cooling fan also normal operation, but does not have the picture projected out in the computer. Or sometimes the projection screen is not completely displayed.

Reason: Because the projector bulb and cooling fan can operate normally, excluding the possibility of the projector failure, and the computer can be used normally, so also eliminate the possibility of computer failure. The problem, then, may be in the signal wiring or the projector and computer settings.

Solution: Most projector users are connected with the notebook computer, then can not be projected from the notebook's external video port is not activated, as long as you press and hold the FN key notebook computer, and then press the logo as LCD/CRT or display icon corresponding function keys, The following figure F7 key to switch. When the switch is still unable to display when, may be the problem of computer input resolution, then as long as the computer's display resolution and refresh rate adjusted to the scope of the projector allowed, but also need to pay attention to the projector screen width and height ratio settings.

Notice: Sometimes the projection screen although can show, but only show a part of the computer image, this may be the computer output resolution is too high, can be appropriately reduced computer resolution and then projection. If the problem after the above treatment is still the case, it is possible that LCD projector LCD panel has been damaged or DLP projector in the DMD chip has been damaged, then it needs to be sent to professional maintenance.

Third, knowledge expansion

The functional hotkey used by different laptops to connect the projector:

Toshiba→fn+f5

Ibm→fn+f7

Compaq→fn+f4

Gateway→fn+f3

Nec→fn+f3

Panasonic (fn+f3

Fujitsu→fn+f10

Dec→fn+f4

Sharp→fn+f5

Hitachi→fn+f7

Dell→fn+f8

Coloful→fn+f2

Part III

The general notebook is connected to the projector and press the FN+F4 key on the keyboard (depending on the model of the notebook). Note that the F4 or other keys have a small box on it. The projector can be displayed, but some laptops are connected to the projector, no matter what keys the projector does not show, now take the Sony notebook as an example to illustrate the solution.

One, right click on the desktop-properties-settings-Advanced.

Second, click the title of the video card that the notebook belongs to

Third, click on the Notebook and monitor icon (with two computer screen icons)

When you click on the first icon (the monitor) The notebook will not display and the projector displays

The notebook displays while the second icon (notebook) is clicked and the projector does not show

Four, click OK after the projector can be displayed.
