How to convert files in CAJ, KDH, and NH format into WORD format]

Step/method

Use CAJviewer 7 to open the file to be converted, as shown in the following figure.

If you need the content in the first section, click the OCR function key that comes with CAJViewer 7, as shown in the following figure.

The button in the red frame in the figure is the OCR recognition button (if you are using the simplified CAJviewer, the button is gray and unavailable ), click the mouse and it will turn into a cross. Then, we will select the desired content from the box on the current page. A text recognition box will pop up later, we can choose to copy to the clipboard or send it to the word, and then close the recognition box. (OCR has an error rate. Therefore, manual verification is required after recognition)

If we only need to extract a small part of the content, we can use this method. If we want to convert the entire article to a word format that can be edited, let's continue to look at it.

In this step, we will convert the CAJ, KDH, and NH Files to PDF files, and then convert the PDF files to the WORD format. Now we need to convert this file into PDF format. PDF virtual printer is recommended. This document uses PDF factory as an example. (The PDF virtual printer of PDF Craetor or foxit series software may conflict with CAJviewer. Only the top half of the converted PDF file is displayed, and the bottom half is blank. Therefore, we do not recommend this PDF file)

CAJviewer software menu file ---- print ------ the print page is displayed with the above settings. If you are using another PDF virtual printer, select the corresponding printer. The other settings are basically the default settings. Click OK, wait for conversion and save as a PDF file.

The next task is to convert the converted PDF file to WORD. Here we use the powerful PDF conversion software ABBYY finereader for OCR conversion. (Because the PDF files converted from CAJviewer are PDF files in the form of images, there is no way to use other PDF-to-wording Software. Only conversion software with OCR is required, remember this .)

We run the ABBYY finereader software and set the language types of the file to be identified (there may be multiple types). If you do not want the software to open the page, you can check the "not show this window" option, open the saved PDF file and the file is automatically recognized by OCR. As shown in the following figure:

If some parts or errors cannot be identified during the identification process, the software will receive a warning. Software menu after recognition

After saving the WORD file, open it with software. The conversion effect is shown in the following figure:

The conversion effect is basically acceptable, and the layout restoration capability is also good. The rest is to check it with the original text, and the success will be achieved ~~~.

Notes

The final conversion effect of the file is directly related to the conversion effect of your PDF virtual printer. The higher the resolution of the converted PDF file, the higher the OCR recognition accuracy.

If your file medium contains a large number of mathematical formulas, physical formulas, trigonometric functions, and various computing formulas that cannot be recognized at present, we need to manually input them in the formula editor, this is also the most regrettable thing at present.
