In eclipse, the tabs in the text editor of Windows preference convert space characters onlyProgramming LanguageOther programming languages or plain text. Therefore, if we want to change the main programming language, we can only use the project-specific options.
For Java, first select a specific project, then select Properties, find the Java code style, and then set it in formatter.
We can see that tabs is used by default in the existing style template, but we cannot modify it. In this case, we first go back to the previous page, select and use the specified project preference settings, and then add a new profile. You can choose which settings template to inherit. You can change the attributes after the new one is created.
The setting method of C ++ is similar to that of Java. However, it is directly set in code style without the formatter column.
For versions earlier than eclipse Juno, check that the hexadecimal value is in the debugging status. In the variables list, find a small triangle in the upper-right corner. Click the inverted triangle and select it in layout.
In Juno, after clicking the triangle, select Java, select Java Preferences, find primitive display options, and tick the display hexadecimal values.
