How to convert the disk format (GPT format) of the WINDOWS8 system to the disk format (MBR format) of a Windows 7 system

Knowledge Point Analysis:
Randomly preloaded Win8 computer, the disk is in GPT format, if need to install Win7 and other earlier version system, need to convert to MBR format, use the DiskPart command to complete the conversion.
Operation Steps:

Note: The conversion disk format requires that all partitions and data on the disk be emptied and all important data on the disk be saved before operation.

1. Use Win7 CD or USB stick to boot, enter the system installation interface.



2. Press SHIFT + F10 to open the command prompt.



3. Enter "Diskpart" (do not enter quotation marks, the same below) and press ENTER to enter the interface



4. Enter: "List disk" to view the disk information. Note the disk capacity to select. The 465G Disk 0 is the hard drive, and the 3852M Disk 1 is the USB flash drive for Win7 installation.



5. Enter: "Select Disk 0" and select Disk 0 as the current operation



6. Enter: "Clean" to empty the current disk partition.



7. Enter: "Convert MBR", convert to MBR partition.



8. When the operation is complete, close this Command prompt window and continue to install the Win7 system as normal.
