Follow these steps to create a self-extracted compressed file in Windows XP:
(1) Select "Start> Run", and enter the "iexpress" command in the "run" dialog box to open the "IExpress Wizard" interface.
(2) Click the "Create new Self Extraction Directive file" option and then click "Next.
(3) Click "Extract files only" and click "Next.
(4) enter the title of the compressed Package on the "Package title" page, and click the "No prompt" and "Do not display a license" option on the following two interfaces, click "Next.
(5) On the "Packaged files" page, click "Add" to Add the original file. You can use the default settings in the next two interfaces.
(6) On the "compressed Package storage" page, click the "Browse" button to create the address and Name of the compressed Package, and select the "Store files using Long File Name inside Package" check box, click "Next" to create the instance.
