Notebook as a WI-FI base station can achieve the following functions:

2. Allow laptops or desktops with wireless NICs nearby to achieve wireless Internet sharing.

The procedure is as follows:

First, make sure that your laptop has correctly installed all the drivers of WIN7. When you enable the network sharing center-change the adapter settings option, the following two items will appear:

Right-click the local link, select the "share" tab in the displayed dialog box, and select the one that allows other network users to access this computer ...... Others remain unchanged.

Then, make sure that the hidden wireless network card virtual AP function under WIN7 is enabled. You need to right-click "start"> "attachment" and run "command prompt" in administrator mode.

Two commands are involved:

Netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode = allow ssid = yangtian key = yangtian

Netsh wlan start hostednetwork

The blue command is equivalent to the initial setting of the vro. "mode" indicates the mode, and allow indicates the open mode, which does not need to be changed. The ssid is the name of your Wi-Fi base station. You can customize the device name as yangtian. The key is used to access the password required by the router. You can also customize the ssid. We recommend that you use an English password, if the password is set to a number here, it is not a 10-digit password and must be decrypted. The password is also set to yangtian. Paste it in the command prompt and press Enter. The following example is displayed:

Indicates that the setting is successful. You only need to set this parameter once and it will be valid for the future, unless you want to modify the parameter again. The next option is displayed when you return to the network center, that is, the virtual Wireless AP device:

We can rename the name of it as it looks straight. Here I will change it to "virtual Wireless AP ". Right-click the property to make sure that all IP addresses and DNS addresses in the IPV4 Option column of the device are automatically obtained.

Below we will start the virtual Wireless AP, used as the launch end of the WI-FI base station, because it is a soft AP, so it is also opened at the command prompt to use the password to open, is the above mentioned Red Command. Copy, paste, and press Enter. In addition, you need to repeat this step to switch the device each time you start the instance. Then, the red XX on the virtual Wireless AP disappears, indicating that the instance is successfully started.

After this step, we have successfully set and enabled the virtual Wireless AP, but we must also do one thing: bridge the external network of the notebook to the virtual Wireless AP to achieve Internet sharing. Go back to the local link, right-click Properties, and open the following drop-down menu in the share tab. If the drop-down menu does not appear, remove the check box before allowing other network users to share, after you click "OK", a drop-down menu will appear. Select "virtual Wireless AP" instead of "wireless network card" and click "OK. Note: Because the virtual Wireless AP is extended on the hardware wireless network card, do not disable or disable the wireless network card during use.
